Other than its furry arms and legs, what does the Kiwa Hirsuta look like? For starters, they're 6 inches long, no much bigger tyhan your hand. they also have pincers, like regular crabs, but they detox poison in the water. Regular crabs can't do that. They also have strongly reduced eyes that lack pigment, so it's thought to be blind. Like I said on the homepage, they were first thought to be a cross between a shrimp, crab and lobster, but these reduced eyes and hairlike setae proved it's diversity. -Ellen Landrum
